"I found everyone from the registration clerk with whom I spoke on the phone, to the nurses, surgeon, and the anesthesiologist to be very caring, ,patient, and willing to answer questions. Overall my last few experiences here have been awful and the treatment is much better at other hospitals. I then looked at the results she had and it was a lipoma which was not dangerous.She should not have been the one giving me the results. Of course I was upset and confused as was my husband. They saw something in my brain and the neurologist refused to speak to me until the next day which had me panicking So the nurse tried to tell me what I had and she said lymphoma. I was also given an MRI because they didnt know if I had a seizure or just passed out. When I told the hospitalist I felt something in my neck, his response was "that's weird".

I don't know why they didn't do a full blood workup. I later found out I had a thyroid problem at my PCP. It took 3 cardiologists to figure out a medication I was taking was causing it that I'd been on for almost years. They ran some tests, but never found out why it came on so suddenly. Then in April I was hospitalized for a heart arrhythmia and the paramedics took me to Resurrection even though I wouldn't have chosen Res. He had some brain damage, however, he improved alot and mostly just had memory problems after a few weeks. The nurses were awful also, so we had him transferred to Northwestern hospital and he was able to speak fine and was even able to walk. They put him on a ventilator and said he was blind and could not breathe on his own. "My father was here after he had a stroke and it was the worst care I had ever seen. I was only trying to do a good deed so they could contact the correct family member, who is not me." Not sure how somebody so rude could be answering the phones at a hosptial. She yelled at me and said "this is a hospital" after I told her I didn't have the patients name because I was contacted by mistake. Tried to return the call and let them know they were calling the wrong number of their patient and the receptionist hung up on me TWICE. I declined as I did not recognize the number, only to get a voicemail from someone who identified herself as a covering therapist for my "family member's" regular therapist at Resurrection Health Center. Now I’m home and I’m trying to get medical records try to get them to call you back to see what happens call during their work hours and they never answer their phone and they tell you to call you back during work hours" It’s a shame Larry could only find 1 time in hours to come in my room (after I complained) for my pain medication but nothing else like vitals taken The emergency room everyone on the dayshift should be fired and replaced I had my my call button pressed for four hours and I finally had to call the hospital to get somebody in my room Then someone took the car button off my rail and I started spitting up blood again and couldn’t call for a nurse not that it would’ve helped. Kara ,Margaret and Toni They too are understaffed but still found time to take care of their patients. I will say I did have in 6 days 3 good nurses. I a risk factor for falling and had to take myself to bathroom suppose to have compression socks on. "Been here day 6 this shift has been on.2 hours and they have not checked my oxygen or vitals one time I am scheduled for a procedure in 5 and 1/2 hours. (Also: I never received a text confirming my appointments.) So, the situation turned out OK, but I was ticked about the initial snafu."

She called someone who told her the staff would work me in, which it did. I assured her that I was not the person who had canceled the appointments. She investigated and informed me that my appointments had been canceled. I told her that I indeed did - at 9 and again at.
